Five Badgers named to Hockey Canada National Team Orientation Camp

MADISON, Wis. – The Canadian women's national hockey team announced its 30-player National Team Orientation Camp roster for the 2026 Winter Olympic games last Friday, with five former Badgers included on the team. The group includes four Badgers with previous Olympic experience, Sarah Nurse, Emily Clark, Blayre Turnbull and Ann-Renée Desbiens, as well as Olympic-newcomer Darryl Watts. The five players make Wisconsin the most represented school on the roster. This year, the Trophy committee worked with Pro Football Focus (PFF) to narrow down its list to the top 40 centers. PFF grades every player on every play of every game on how well they execute their given assignment.
